SBI Youth for India Fellowship Program

SBIF Jivanam: Healthcare

• Applications for the YFI 2025–26 batch opened on February 11, 2025, receiving 3,36,864 registrations and 76,317 applications. Following interviews across six cities, 161 Fellowships were offered, and 68 Fellows joined the batch during the Orientation Programme held at Barefoot College–SWRC, Tilonia, Rajasthan.

• The SBI Sanjeevani – Nirantar Seva project, Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture, Maharashtra; Shri Rajabhaut, implemented in partnership with Creative Group, was inaugurated; The initiative delivers emergency medical services, medicines, and timely assistance to road accident victims along the Mumbai–Nagpur Expressway.

SBI Gram Seva : Rural Development

Inaugurated the SBI Gram Seva program in Jhunjhunu District, Rajasthan. The project is being implemented by Arpan Seva Sanstha for integrated rural development.

• SBI Gram Seva program was launched in Kondagaon District, Chhattisgarh, implemented by Samarthan – Centre for Development Support for integrated rural development.

• Gram Seva launched the SBI Sammaan – Hom(e)age to the National Heroes project at Rudha village, Sitapur District, Uttar Pradesh, implemented by Sahbhagi Sikshan Kendra in tribute to Param Vir Chakra Awardee Shaheed Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey.

SBIF CONSERW : Environment & Sustainability

• On July 25, 2025, International Mangrove Day was observed through a virtual roundtable on “Thriving Mangrove Ecosystem,” showcasing partner NGOs’ contributions in restoring over 1,265 acres with more than 55 lakh mangrove saplings.

• On September 12, 2025, the Boccia Sports Federation of India (BSFI) organised a Boccia Awareness Programme with over 70 participants.

• SBIF Jivanam initiative to establish a modern Radiology Department at Guru Amar Dass Hospital, Ludhiana, under the Providing Medical Equipment project.

• The SBIF Jivanam: Providing Medical Equipment project was launched. • The SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels project was inaugurated, with funding support from SBI-SG Global and implementation by Shikhar Yuva Manch (SYM).

SBIF Sashakti

• The foundation stone for the SBIF Sashakti: Construction of Girls’ Hostel Complex was laid, in partnership with Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital and YSSACT. The initiative aims to empower rural girls in Saran, Bihar, through safe residential facilities and quality education in optometry and allied fields.

SBIF ILM : Education

• The Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for the Tribal Girls’ Hostel at Niwali Village, Barwani District, Madhya Pradesh, was held in collaboration with AIDENT Social Welfare Organisation (ASWO) and Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust (KGNMT). The project aims to provide safe and modern accommodation for 220 tribal girls, supporting their access to education in a secure environment.

Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Persons with Disabilities (PwD)

• SBI Foundation, in partnership with Dr. Reddy’s Foundation, launched the Swavlamban – Grow PwD Centre at Mysore to empower 1,330 Persons with Disabilities across five centres—Agra, Dehradun, Mysore, Pune, and Jabalpur—through employability training, career readiness modules, and sustainable livelihood opportunities over two years.

• SBIF CoE: Samagra Shiksha project launched at Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, in partnership with CBM India Trust. The three-year initiative supports 200 Children with Disabilities through education and therapeutic interventions.

• SBIF CoE: Samarthya project

in partnership with Vipla Foundation. The three-year initiative supports early identification and therapy for children with hearing impairment, providing 1,250 hearing aids through the Dhvani Early Intervention Centre.

• SBIF LEAP – Skilling for Future, launched with SRF Foundation at Mysore Skill Centre, to upskill 3,000 youth in IT and Green Jobs, enabling participants with market-oriented skills for sustainable careers.

• SBIF LEAP – Ma Ki Roti was launched, in Mahasamund, Chhattisgarh, in partnership with Maa Foundation to promotes women’s entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihoods by empowering SHG women to operate 15 community canteens across Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Meghalaya.
